August Chapter Dinner Meeting(posted 07/21/2006)
Will be at the new Margaritas Mexican Restaurant in Exeter on 8/7 at 6:30 PM. It's a good chance to meet other club members and find out what is going on. Please go to the Calendar page and click on RSVP, if you are planning on attending this event, so that we get a rough head count. Please note that the SEC meeting for July 26th has been cancelled.

VRG Level 2 Skills School on August 19th(posted 06/20/2006)
On Saturday, August 19 the Vintage Racer Group (VRG), in conjunction with the WMC's Summer Heat Driving School, will be hosting a Level 2 Skills School at NHIS. This school is designed to teach drivers how to better manage weight transfer and slip angles in order to lower lap times. The lecture, skid pad and figure 8 exercises will focus not on safety, but specifically on increasing corner entry and exit speeds on the track. There will be no braking or lane change exercises. An autocross course, similar to the one used in our ADSS program but significantly faster, will be used to practice and refine the advanced driving techniques learned during the morning exercises. Coaching will be conducted both in-car and via radios supplied by VRG. Cost for the day is $120. If interested, please contact Ed Valpey at vmax@metrocast.net.

This meeting will be held at Fiestas Mexican Cafe & Deli in Stratham, NH. It's easy to find, as it is across the street from Ira BMW of Stratham. The meeting was pushed a week, to Monday, June 12th, and will be at the same time (6:30 pm). Check the calendar for a map and to RSVP to our Vice President, John Cloutier, who will be hosting this meeting.
